Katherine Erickson is a photographer whom has been shooting pictures for over four decades. Katherine likes to find beauty in simple everyday experiences and then bring these to life in her images. Katherine enjoys traveling, exploring coastal areas, cities and deserts. She does both scenic, landscape photography as well as abstract design work. As part of the post editing process, Katherine likes to experiment with color, patterns of light and shapes and may incorporate painting applications into her images. Of recent, Katherine has focused much of her work on the Central California coastline including San Luis Obispo, Cambria and Morro Bay.

Reflections

I was walking around in the morning and not to excited about the images that I had captured. Suddenly I noticed all of the awesome reflections in the many swimming pools throughout the resort. As the became my focus of interest, I was then further motivated to notice the reflections in the puddles on the ground.
